There are now three states where online gambling has been declared legal. Nevada, New Jersey, and Delaware are the three states.

Today, the first legal online poker website based in the United States was launched live on the internet. The website is based in Nevada. For now, only people physically in Nevada can play. One of the best places to place bar poker on Thursdays is always the American Legion Post 39 in North Saint Paul, Minnesota. This coming Thursday, April 4, 2013, should be a wild time playing poker at the Legion.

The Legion is having their Spring Fling this year in the banquet hall on the same evening as the poker is in the bar area, Thursday, April 4, 2013, from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. The 1st Annual Spring Fling is a Fundraiser for the Holiday Helping Hand & Student Scholarship Programs. A ticket includes Buffet Style Food provided by Participating Food Sponsors, Beer and Wine Tasting Booths, Social Networking, Music, and 1 entry for a $2,500 Cash Drawing (need not be present to win). At that time the flag is passed on to the next person seated at the bar and so on and so forth until the race is over. This Sunday, March 17, 2013, the NASCAR race is being held at the Bristol Motor Speedway, a track well known for a high number of crashes and cautions, so Sunday’s race will be a great one to be playing Capture The Flag. The Legion has also recently launched a new mobile website http://americanlegionnorthstpaul.com/mobile/index.html designed for viewing with phones, tablets and mobile devices.

Happy Halloween Weekend to everyone! Our staff was at the Halloween Costume Contest Party last night at the American Legion in North St. Paul. Excellent event! Had a really good time. There were some excellent costumes, and the judging was well done, with the winners having deserved to win because they had great costumes. We videotaped the event in HD so look for the video to be online soon. The band, The Fugitives, sounded great and looked good too.
